1. The service

BranchFirst is a task manager that keeps work in branches. The web app runs fully in your browser at no cost, without an account, with no limit on the number of tasks. Creating an account is also free.

BranchFirst Sync is a paid add-on that (a) synchronizes your task document across every device you sign in on, and (b) unlocks the BranchFirst terminal application, which requires an active Sync plan to connect. Local, browser-only use never requires Sync.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use Sync. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Contact us at [Contact email] if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscription billing

BranchFirst Sync is billed by Stripe, Inc., acting as merchant of record and reseller for this subscription. Stripe issues your invoices, calculates and remits applicable VAT/sales tax, and processes your payment method. Plans are $1 per month or $10 per year and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal, reachable from the "Manage plan" button on /pricing. Cancelling stops future renewals; your Sync access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

4. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you ordinarily have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. Because BranchFirst Sync is digital content and a digital service supplied immediately, by starting checkout and confirming payment you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been fully supplied, in accordance with applicable EU consumer law.

Independently of that legal right, we also offer the voluntary refund window described in our refund policy.

5. Your data

You own the tasks you create. In local mode, your task data is stored only in your browser and is never sent to our servers. With Sync active, your task document is also stored on our server so it can be shared across your devices and the terminal app.

If your Sync plan ends, we do not delete your data: the last copy that was synced remains available to you as a read-only download from the app.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for consumers.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Local, browser-only use of BranchFirst is not affected by account termination.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you have your habitual residence.
